Nonhle Thema was both nervous and excited to act alongside her mother. Veteran actress Cynthia Shange made her debut on Zabalaza on Thursday evening as KG's mother. KG is Nonhle's charatcter on the Mzansi Magic soapie.

An elated Nonhle took to Instagram to inform her fans about her mother's appearance on the show.

She wrote: "Are you guys READY to meet KGs mommy on #Zabalaza Tonight...well let me reveal who will be acting along me as my mom....My Queen CYNTHIA SHANGE. My real life Mommy and Veteran actress will be playing the part of KGs mother...So excited."

This is the first time the mother and daughter have worked together. "I was so honored and nervous and excited all at the same time..." 

Awww... that must have been a proud and happy moment for them.
