Afro-Pop heartthrob Ntando Bangani is reported to have returned to TS records after his much publicized exit from the stable in 2007 when both parties failed to reach common ground with regards to Ntando’s renewed contract. According to various reports Bangani has humbled himself and returned back to the recording company that capitulated his career to platinum heights with singles like “Ngyam’thanda” (I love her) and “Nguwe” (It’s you).
Speaking to iSoloziwe publications Nthando is said to be extatic to be back at his musical home of TS Records.
“Nothing beats humbling yourself in this industry because at the end of the day what is important is the music and not the pride.” said Ntando.
Bangani is already recording his latest album with TS Record producers Robbie Malinga and Thebe Mojalefa who are responsible for producing Zahara’s platinum selling album “Loliwe”. It’s reported that they’ve already recorded 9 tracks on the 12 track album, Robbie is said to be also excited in collaborating with Ntando as he proves to be a man who not only loves but knows music and has a great understanding of what his followers want to hear from him.
“We’re stronger when working together as a unit and that is clearly proven by all the accolades we’ve been receiving throughout the years for our music.” said Robbie.
The album is currently being recorded in KZN, Robbie mentioned that the reason for them recording in KZN and not in Joburg was because they wanted to be fully focused on the music without any interruptions plus recording at the prestigious KZN House of Music studio was the cherry on top for such a production.
It’s a smart move that Ntando has made by going back to TS Records , afterall his attempts of establishing his own record company failed dismally. Does anyone remember Bonfire Records? Yea we neither, welcome back Ntando please don’t wonder off again you’ve seen what TS Records has done for Zahara right?
