We want to see Brenda Ngxoli weekly

It's not enough to see actress Brenda Ngxoli every now and then, we want to see her on our televisions weekly, please?

It’s been almost three months since Rockville season three ended, and whilst watching a rerun of Home Affairs starring Brenda Ngxoli, we realised that this talented actress needs to be on our TV screens every day of the week.  We might sound a bit dramatic, but we think it’s a sin that Brenda isn’t on our television screens from Monday to Friday. It’s absolutely mind-boggling that she isn’t acting in any of our weekly soaps. Lord knows she deserves to be on at least one of these soapies?

Granted, her roles on Rockville and Ses’Top La have assisted her in bagging two South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAS) accolades, but is that enough? For the humble actress, it might be, but for her fans, we want more!

We're not throwing shade at any of the actors on our weekly soapies, but adding Brenda Ngxoli on either Generations, Scandal, Isidingo or Muvhango might just be the best move for these platforms. Brenda's magic might even help with some much-needed boosting with regards to their TV ratings. But who knows, maybe one watchful director out there is already developing a weekly character for Brenda. Fingers crossed.

We also wonder if Brenda will ever return to presenting the successful show that is, Our Perfect Wedding. Before Tumi Morake took over from Phumeza Mdabe, many of Brenda's loyal fans had requested that Brenda take back her spot as Our Perfect Wedding's host. The calls from Brenda's followers were so loud that even Phumeza unexpectedly stepped down from her role. This is just how popular Brenda is. So, please, if any soapie scriptwriter is reading this, can we work on seeing Brenda Ngxoli far more often on our small screens? Pretty please.
