Pearl Kenosi Mooi is persisting with her claims about brother-in-law Theunis Crous's determination to sleep with her.

Crous gained notoriety in 2009 for his uncomfortably public, extramarital affair with actress and television presenter Khanyi Mbau, who also named him as the culprit when explicit nude pictures of her were subsequently leaked online.

Theunis is married to Pearl Mooi's sister Primrose, with whom he reconciled following the Mbau scandal.

In July last year, Pearl told the media that Theunis was threatening to publish what she claims are "doctored nude photographs" of her because she refused to oblige his request for "sexual favours".

Crous at the time denied ever asking Pearl for sex and turned the tables by saying she's the one who is harassing him about having an affair.

According to the Sowetan, new life has now been breathed into these controversial claims, with a "tearful" Pearl on Tuesday once again telling them how Theunis is making her life "hell".

The businessman has apparently upped the ante, as he now not only wants sex, but also a baby with his wife's sister.

"He always said that he wanted to have a baby with me. I am not his wife, this man is mentally sick. I was not raised to have a child with someone who is married to my sister," Pearl said.

"It's painful and it is affecting my life in a very negative way. I am not a public figure and my name keeps on being dragged in the mud because I am linked to him."

Pearl claims that Theunis's efforts to ruin her life have gone so far that he even broached the subject in front of her family.

"He kept on telling my family that he wanted to marry me. People think I am a girl who is trying to steal her sister's man, but he is doing this because he is trying to destroy me," the 22-year-old added.

"He promised me that if I do not allow him to be with me, no other man will be with me because of what will be written about me."

An insider reportedly corroborated these claims about Theunis's alleged harassment, saying that Pearl once said he asked her parents if he could marry both their daughters.

The source claims, though, that "things changed when he started having money problems", and that he now "seems to have some kind of vendetta against her".

Theunis Crous's assets were officially frozen in November last year, after he was charged with tax fraud in 2012, for claiming false VAT refunds.

He once again denied Pearl's accusations when approached for comment, saying: "I do not want to entertain this thing. This person has been harassing me for some time. This is her style, it does not surprise me at all. She targets married men and tries to blackmail them into giving her money."
