Pearl Thusi doesn't have time to fight people on Twitter. All she wants to do is make money.
That's what she said when ZAlebs caught up with her at the launch of the Durban Fashion Fair. She also clarified her "Twar" with Ntsiki Mazwai.
"Ntsiki didn't listen to the show and Twitter misled her with information that I gave on the show. Instead of asking what happened, she decided to attack me and I didn't return the favour. She thought I said she only had one song, when I actually asked a listener to sing one song of hers, I did not say she has one song. So Ntsiki did not verify facts. Well, she can do whatever she thinks is best for her, if attacking people without the right information works for her then that's fine, but I don't have time for bickering on Twitter, I am all about making money," Pearl told ZAlebs.
Still on the note of making money, her first talk show with Lerato Kganyago debuted on EbonyLife TV recently.
"It is such an honour to do something so lovely. I have always wondered how I would do as a talk show host. The talk show is on channel 165, it's a Nigerian channel, but it goes out to more than 40 countries around Africa. The show is called Moments, we discuss relevant issues that are happening around South Africa and Africa," she explained.
We also asked Pearl if she has had the time to watched herself on the new platform, and this is what she had to say: "Our first episode actually aired this week, I watched half of the show and didn't finish, but I recorded it. I couldn't watch it cause my boyfriend was trying to watch it with me and I don't like watching myself with other people."
Oops! Pearl let it slip that she is in a relationship! ZAlebs tried to find out who the lucky guy is, but, unfortunately, Pearl was tight-lipped about the subject of love.
"I don't mind answering that question, but I won't tell you who he is because once I reveal him, I will have to let you know how I break up. But know that I am very happy," said a smiling Pearl.
