Princess Charlene of Monaco is once again at the centre of a cheating scandal, after photos of her cosying up to an older gentleman in the Caribbean surfaced.
German tabloid Bunte recently published pictures of the Africa-born princess on its front page, along with the headline "Scandalous Photos" and a caption that reads: "While Prince Albert is in Sochi, his wife relaxes in the Caribbean".
Princess Charlene is often pictured looking somewhat glum, but these photographs show her looking unusually high-spirited, as she kisses, laughs, and embraces her male companion.
According to the magazine, the "Scandalous Photos" were taken on the island of Saint Barthelemy, which is located near the popular celebrity holiday destination of Saint Martin.
Born Charlene Wittstock in Rhodesia, the Princess moved to South Africa with her family when she was eleven and went to school in Benoni. Charlene grew up to become an Olympic swimmer, and later became a global ambassador for the Special Olympics.
She met Albert II, Prince of Monaco, in 2000, and the palace announced their engagement in 2010, but the couple's relationship became the subject of much gossip when rumours started doing the rounds that she made three attempts to flee to South Africa to escape her upcoming nuptials.
Rumours that she was being forced to marry the Prince were fuelled when she spent most of her wedding ceremony in tears, and gossip of their unhappy union continues as she's often seen holidaying without him, as he performs royal duties by himself.
