Rapper, The Game honours Tata Madiba
The Game has put his love for Nelson Mandela in ink. The rapper got a huge tattoo of the South African freedom fighter on his arm in light of Mandela’s death.

In the late hours of the day on the 9th December 2013, the Hate it or Love it rapper decided to etch some art on his skin in tribute to the late great Nelson Mandela whose passing has certainly dealt the world a heavy blow. The rapper has taken a peaceful route in recent times, promoting non-violence and interesting diet regimes.

The intricate piece features Mandela in jail looking solemnly through the prison bars.

“The finished ‘Nelson Mandela looking out of the prison bars by @NikkoHurtado done on my side. 7 hour sitting…. Few more hours to tie in the tats around it & we solid. #NelsonMandela #RIP #Legend #Leader #Freedom #Peace #Equality #Tattoos #SouthAfrica,” shared The Game on Instagram.

The impressive piece came at the price of pain. California tattoo artist Nikko Hurtado added, “#NelsonMandela Tattoo collector @thedocumentary In the arm pit area! Ouch.”

Game is just one of the many artists who have paid tribute to the South African leader. R.Kelly prepared a musical tribute while Kanye West took to Twitter to share his love and respect.
