Reviews: #DateMyFamily: Zulu girls take over

Zulu girls charm Shaun and the entire nation.

Mzansi Magic and chill was in full effect on Sunday night, from Euphoniks Twitter rant, Nasty C’s Roc Nation phone call and of course our favourite TV shows playing back to back, just the way we love it.

You’ve got to love South Africa, there’s never a dull week in our nation and just like every episode of Date My Family, Sunday night’s episode was far from boring. Thanks to the Zulu girls who added great entertainment to the show.

On Sunday night, we were introduced to bachelor, Shaun, who, like every person on the show is looking for love. We usually don’t care much about the match-ups on the show but when Shaun chose Zulu-girl Mbali we celebrated from the comfort of our couch.

But let’s not give all credit to Shaun as it was Mbali’s friends and sister who did all the ground work. Honestly, we can’t even remember what the two previous families before Mbali even looked like. Her sister and friends made it seem like the previous contestants were never in the picture.

Mbali’s friend Nomusa immediately caught our attention with her bubbly nature, not that Mbali’s other friends and sister weren’t bubbly but man, Nomusa just did it for us.

The hilarious part is that she kept on referring to Shaun as uMkhwenyane (husband) like how forward could she be!? But we loved it though and so did the rest of South Africa.

Our other favorite moments was when Mbali's family compared her to Halle Berry. Explaining that Mbali is one bombshell and we agree, Mbali is a flame and so is her sister Busi.

Busi was so captivating that some viewers even thought she would hit Mbali with a brick and run away towards the sunset with Shaun. The funny thing is Mbali and Shaun hadn't even met, but the way some of the viewers were so concerned was hilarious.

However, it may seem like some viewers preferred if Shaun dated all of the girls, that's how well Mbali was represented.

Nonetheless, this was one of the best match-ups we've seen in a while, we're glad that Shaun chose Mbali, she's not only beautiful but she also charmed us when she asked about Shaun's mom, she knows how protective mothers are of their sons.

Date My Family please give us a follow up on these two and if they did go for a second date.
