The reason we love OPW is because of all the couples who bring a variety of interesting aspects to the show.
When it comes to OPW we can boldly say we have seen it all, from poorly planned weddings to atrocious kissing moments that have made us squirm. We have seen so many disasters we have even lost count, and don’t get us started on some of the shocking wedding gowns we have seen in this season.
This week’s episode was no exception and had us using a calculator more, than focusing on the idea of two people celebrating their love for each other. Our maths was put to the test when we found out that the groom, Howard is 49 years old and his wife Letta is 25.
What also through us off was that they met when she was 17 years old and he was 41. It’s a bit hard to comprehend the age gap, but we take it that they are comfortable with the age difference, hence they even opted to celebrate their nuptials on national television.
We agree that the wedding was beautiful. There were no complications, sans drama or lack of planning. But there were a few things we felt were bad choices.
As always we love to start with the bridal gown, and Letta opted for two beautiful dresses. She wore one dress for the matrimonial ceremony and the other one during the reception. Letta looked gorgeous in both gowns and her slim figure also worked to her advantage.
For the first time in a while, we were really impressed with the bridesmaids’ dresses. They might have chosen the infamous purple, but at least they did justice to the dresses. Like viewers, we are also tired of seeing bridesmaids rocking the razor cut hairdo also.
The groom didn’t look too shabby in his blue suit either. We must say Bra Howard doesn’t look his age. The only thing that gave away his age was his ancient dance moves.
The groomsmen would have nailed the James Bond effect had their suits not been so shiny. We honestly can’t wait for this shiny suit fad to come to an end, and why were they all so young? Doesn’t Bra Howard have friends his own age?
Where are the groom's friends? I only see bride's age group! #OPW

The cake and décor might have been generic, but at least it was nicely done and on point.
The traditional wedding was characterised with a lot of red, to the point that it was a tad too much to the eye. Unfortunately, the traditional outfits weren’t that flattering either. It’s one of those situations when you know that something is wrong, but you can’t pinpoint it, so we will just leave it at that.
And of course, the Twitter English experts could not let the English mishaps from the bride and groom slide,
English was not invited to this wedding, it just gatecrashed #OPW #OurPerfectWedding
