Rolene Strauss made every single South African proud after bagging the Miss World title last year. The beauty queen, wh's been busy with her new duties, will never forget that amazing moment when she was announced as the winner.
Speaking on V Entertainment recently, Rolene described what was going through her mind when they called out her named. She said: "It was an experience that I will never forget. I remember seeing my family in the audience, and seeing the way they burst into tears, and feeling like it is such an honour."
She said she also thought it would be such a responsibility. But she new that she was doing it for Mzansi. She continued: "I thought of South Africa, I thought of my family and everyone who supported me so far. That was for South Africa and that was for them. I was really grateful for that moment and that amazing experience."
The 'beauty with a purpose' has been hard and doing her bit to make a difference. She recently shared a picture of her Leeuwkop Prison visit on Instagram and captioned the it: "We might not be able to change the world, but we can do our part! #PovertyEradicationProject #BeautyWithaPurpose."
