Daily Sun reports that Senzo's Beemer - which was not insured - is now in the hands of auctioneers, after it was repossessed by Aucor Property at his home in Umlazi, KZN on Wednesday. Though it is not known how much money was outstanding, it turns out the car's finance repayments slipped into arrears, which the Meyiwa's were unable to settle.

An Aucor employee confirmed that the BMW SUV is in their repo lot: "We cannot say when it will be auctioned because we have to wait for clearance from the bank," the employee told Daily Sun.

Senzo Meyiwa, who was the Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana captain, was shot and killed on 26 October 2014 outside Kelly Khumalo's home in Spruitview, Ekurhuleni.
