It's been a few months since Senzo Meyiwa's death. But sadly, no one has been charged with his murder. Now it has been reported that the late soccer player's parents know exactly who killed Senzo last year.
In an exclusive interview, Sam and Ntombifuthi Meyiwa told Drum magazine that there were no armed robbers who broke into Kelly Khumalo's childhood home. They were reportedly told by one of the people who were in the house that there was a scuffle which broke out and that Senzo was apparently shot by mistake.
But the Meyiwas are reportedly afraid to talk and are not willing to divulge details of the killer. Ntombifuthi told Drum: "If I were to give you the name of the killer, I would be arrested."
They also mentioned that an eyewitness who was inside the house told police what really happened, but the police are still investigating.
Senzo was shot and killed at Kelly Khumalo's home in Vosloorus, East of Johannesburg. According to the SAPS, there were seven people in the house when the incident happened. It is alleged that two suspects went into the house while one remained outside. They reportedly fled on foot after the shooting.
The soccer player's death got a lot of people angry and some even went as far as accusing Kelly of the murder. But the singer and mother of one has made it clear that she had nothing to do with.
