What's Hot: Simphiwe Ngema: I was a tomboy

Simphiwe Ngema has spoken about how she was when growing up.

It’s kind of hard to believe that the gorgeous lady that is Simphiwe Ngema was, in actual fact, a hardcore tomboy growing up.

The Muvhango actress, who was born in Soweto but left with her family when she was five, revealed in an interview with DJ Mo-Flava on Metro FM that she was actually one heck of a tomboy growing up.

“I was such a tomboy and the thing is I also looked like my dad, so when I was younger I literally looked like a boy and the fact that my name is Simphiwe would confuse people. It changed when I began growing up and being interested in boys and stuff.”

Speaking about the opposite sex, Simphiwe shocked us when she admitted that she had a crush on American actor George O. Gore, who played the role of Junior on My Wife & Kids.

Junior!? Really, Simphiwe? You had a crush on this guy?

Simphiwe Ngema is also quite the businesswoman, as she co-owns a company named S.W.R - with her sister Baxolile Ngema: "We've got construction and civils where we just supply material on demand, we also provide cleaning services."

The actress also jokingly said that she'd be willing to be the face of any construction company willing to have her as the company's brand ambassador.

We're sure many construction companies would jump at the opportunity of having this gorgeous lady attending a few of their meetings and training sessions every now and then.
