Isibaya has really cranked up the heat in recent weeks. The show that never fails to get people talking is making headlines again. Last week we saw Mpiyakhe running away from the hospital after he removed a nail from his forehead. He snuck out of the hospital and into the streets of Johannesburg, posing as a normal person after having stolen clothes from a patient in the hospital.
Mpiyakhe’s enemies, Samson Ndlovu and Nkabinde the “Evil Sangoma” are also in Johannesburg looking for Mpiyakhe with the hopes of turning him into a Zombie again. Meanwhile, Samson is so preoccupied with this search for Mpiyakhe, he has not noticed that his brother Mandla is planning to sabotage him (or at least that's how it looks from our end!)
Love is in the air for Thandeka and Sbu as we finally got to see them kiss this week. It makes for some awkward watching though- they both think that they are siblings, however Samson's wife, Ma'Ndlovu, knows the truth. Sbu is not Mpiyakhe's son. This is great news for Sbu and Thandeka, but will the rest of the family take kindly to this news?
In yesterday's episode we saw Mpiyakhe getting a lift from his old friend- however the friend is unaware that Mpiyakhe actually died and came back as an undead.
The friend took him home, a place Mpiyakhe doesn't recognize as a result of memory loss. What he does remember however is that he is on a warpath, as he pursues his enemy and he will not stop until he gets his revenge. He knows where he wants to go, but does he know how to get there? We will find out next week!
Here is what some celebrities and local Isibaya fans had to say.
