Peaches Geldof continues to be the name on the tongues of many around the world. Her death, which continues to be shrouded in mystery, took many by surprise and we feel nothing but sympathy for all those affected. Bob Geldof already expressed his sadness in a statement; however since the story broke, other members of her family, close friends and fans have taken the time to extend their condolences.
Fifi Geldof, sister of Peaches, had her say on Instagram. Fifi paid tribute to her younger sister by posting a childhood picture of the two on the social network with a very heart warming message captioning the picture.
While the tributes are pouring in, many have started speculating on what could have been the cause of Peaches' death. Among the many interesting theories we have heard, we were most intrigued to see her diet come in to question. In fact, she had been warned in 2011 that her diet of juicing (Blending vegetables into a juice and drinking that, and only that, for a month) could have some deadly effects.
Cath Collins, a spokesperson for the British Dietetic Association responded to Peaches' new diet by warning the young star of the potential repercusssions of her new found diet.
"Surviving on fruit is a very dangerous diet. Peaches is at high risk of electrolyte abnormalities which could lead to acute cardiac arrest. Rapid dieting like this not only makes you lose muscle strength but wastes away your internal organs"
The police, however, are refusing to be swayed by any new theories and continue to investigate the case with an open mind.
