The thrilling Afrikaans band, Spoegwolf, officially launched four new songs this week, exclusive to the Spoegwolf MyEdit channel until the 19th of February.

The thrilling Afrikaans band, Spoegwolf, officially launched four new songs this week, exclusive to the Spoegwolf MyEdit channel until the 19th of February.

Together with this mini album, titled Elektriese Kind, there will also be a brand new music video to introduce the title song. The songs on this new release are Elektriese Kind, Nagmuskiet, Geheimpie and Agtersitplek.

Swaartekrag didn’t end with enough impact and that’s why Spoegwolf couldn’t move forward. The new music is a bridge between the first and the second full albums. With four songs it says everything we still had to sing. New breath can only enter once you’ve sung your lungs out,” says Danie du Toit, lead singer of Spoegwolf.

MyEdit, SA’s leading free content aggregation app, has joined forces with the band and created a special channel for all their fans. Music teasers, photo’s, articles, Danie’s poetry and lyrics of the songs will definitely keep fans, old and new alike, very happy. The channel will be updated regularly with the latest information on the band, such as when and where they will perform and more on the four guys as well – straight from the wolf’s mouth.

Spoegwolf will hand out free three months’ premium content MyEdit vouchers to the value of R600 at their shows.

“MyEdit is always looking for new and up and coming SA stars and that is exactly what Spoegwolf is. Their music is unique as well dynamic and we are very proud to be part of this second launch,” says Ren Cronjé, project manager of MyEdit.

You can download MyEdit at www.myedit.me or in your app store; choose the free Spoegwolf channel and share in their adventures. Spoegwolf’s new music will be launched on the 8th  of February at 18:30 at the Bordienghuis theatre in Wellington.

Tickets are available at R80 per person and can be booked at 083 570 4765 or teater@breytenbachsentrum.co.za.
