Joey is constantly in demand and is a regular on the SA comedy scene.
He will soon be embarking on his one-man show, Point of Reference, which is sure to be another hit for the comedian.
He is ending 2015 on a high note, as he will also be performing at the BET Experience Africa on 12 December.

So, who is Joey Rasdien?
Joey Rasdien’s professional comedy journey began when he was 26 years old, and more than a decade later he remains one of South Africa’s top funnymen.
But before he became a famous comedian, Joey worked as a financial advisor at Alexander Forbes. He graduated from the Rand Afrikaans University (now known as the University of Johannesburg) with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
But his wife convinced him to quit his job when he was 23, to follow his dream of becoming a comedian.

One year later, he was making a name for himself as part of SABC1’s comedy series, Pure Monate.
And the rest, as they say, is history!
Joey has made appearances in a number of movies, including Blitz Patrollie, Bunny Chow, and Dollars and White Pipes.
The funnyman has also appeared in a number of comedy festivals, including Let Durban Laugh Festival and Blacks Only.He also performed in Dubai and featured in a show at Yuk Yuks, a comedy venue in Toronto, Canada.
Some of his other credits include: the Kings and Queens comedy show, Running Riot, Vaatjie Sien Sy Gat, Last Laugh at The Lyric, Mixed DNA The Tour, and EVOLVED.
Earlier this year, Joey made headlines after his house was burgled.CCTV caught the entire thing on camera, and Joey shared the video on social media, while venting about the incident.

When he is not working the comedy circuit, Joey is taking his daughter Leah to ballet class or hanging out with his son, Hakeem.
