In the first episode, presenter Elana Afrika will peel back the curtain to the event, beginning with interviews with a host of former Miss South Africa title holders including Melinda Bam, Cindy Nell, Basetsane Kumalo, Kerishnie Naiker and the current Miss SA Marilyn Ramos who discuss what is was like to win the title.
The entrants will be out to impress the 2014 judges: radio and TV personality Anele Mdoda who returns for a second time as judge; international DJ and recording artist Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumelo, who is better known to his fans as Black Coffee and magazine editor and style icon, Pnina Fenster.
The 12 Miss South Africa finalists will be revealed in he second episode of ‘The Road to Miss SA’ and from there they will move to Sun City for a series of challenges and events that will test them in all fields, from cooking to dancing.
‘The Road to Miss SA’ starts on Mzansi Magic, channel 161 on DStv at 17:30 on Sunday, 26 January with Miss SA 2014 finalists revealed on Sunday, 2 February.
Axecess Jozi brings top acts to SA
Axecess Jozi in association with Channel O will be the biggest gathering of the top urban music acts in South Africa this year, with a line up that features international hip-hop megastar Big Sean.
AKA, Da Les, Pro, Ma E, Maggz, Khuli Chana, Teargas, Reason and Dreamteam are among the local artists confirmed to perform at Axecess Jozi.
Local artists, DJ Feel, P.H, Khenzero, DJ Tira and DJ Dimplez will also be performing alongside the biggest urban artists in South Africa and Big Sean.
The mega-festival will take place from the early afternoon to the late hours of the night at Mary Fitzgerald Square on Saturday, 1 February.
Two different stages will create a unique daytime experience before leading into the opening of the Axecess Jozi mainstage.
