It seems like there has been a bit of confusion with regards to a second season of Ayeye. Fans of the show were ecstatic last week after Ayeye's producer Kutlwana Ditsele posted a picture of one of the Ayeye actresses, with the caption "on set".

His followers took the image as a message that a second season of Ayeye was in the pipelines.

The word quickly spread that Ayeye would return onto our TV screens in the year 2016.

However, Kutlwana dismissed the rumors and explained his post.

 

NO AYEYE 2!!! Hi, please accept my apology on Ayeye posts. THERE IS NO AYEYE 2. The two images posted were a scene from The Road with @skcoza and 2 beautiful girls which reminded the crew shooting The Road who is the same crew that worked on Ayeye of the Ayeye shoot. The second picture is of @kaonekario who came to visit The Road set and had the same effect on the crew. Apologies again for the confusion, THERE IS NO AYEYE SEASON 2 being shot.

Fans of the show were clearly disappointed at the clarification that the producer made, well at least now we know the truth. However, we are still waiting for a second season of the show. Just as much as we're waiting for a second season of It's Complicated.
