What's Hot: Tribe One Festival set to continue

There is light at the end of the tunnel for the City of Tswane as well as the organizers of the much awaited yet cancelled Tribe One Festival.

The Tribe One Festival which was unexpectedly cancelled last week might continue sooner than we think. The continuation of this festival was confirmed by Tshwane mayor Kgosientso Ramokgopa.

“This is the home of the Tribe-One, it could be happening later this year. It is going to happen. From there it is going to be annually. The concert will continue.” He insisted.

This brings great relief to those who had their hearts set on going to the festival. However, this raises yet another concerning question. Seeing that some people were reimbursed for their ticket and have probably used that money for other necessities. Will they now have to re-purchase their tickets again? Probably so.

Friday the 26th of September would’ve marked the official launch of the concert. Only time will tell if this continuation will actually follow through. Especially considering that the organizers of the show haven't confirmed anything on their side as yet.

This week it was revealed that the festival had cost the City of Tshwane R65million. Adamant to get their return on investment the city had announced that they'd be taking the organizers of the festival to court as they insisted the festival should continue. We guess that court settlement has been settled then.
