Ukhozi FM presenter Nonhlanhla 'Mroza' Buthelezi has revealed that she's having doubts about her marriage to renowned musician and playwright, Mbongeni Ngema.

According to the Daily Sun, Mroza has admitted that she's grown uncomfortable with the idea of being a wife in a polygamous marriage, this after she joined the Resurrection Centre Ministries church and became a born-again Christian.

"If in God's eyes my relationship with Mbongeni is not good he will end things between us," Mroza told the publication.

"All I can say is I was blind but now I can see. I've matured and learnt my lessons. I am in a better position to help women who might be in a similar position as me."

Mroza married controversial Ngema in 2011, while he was engaged to three other women, and was showered with money and gifts when she underwent the traditional unkhehlo ceremony.

"We want fame, money and stability. As a result, we find ourselves stuck in bad relationships," she added

But the lunch-time radio show presenter is leaving the fate of her marriage solidly in the hands of her newfound faith.

She said: "The Lord might teach me other ways to cope with polygamy or might instruct me to leave this relationship.

"I still respect Mbongeni as a husband but this is the life I have chosen. I will not compromise my faith. There are things I am no longer able to do because the Bible prohibits them."

Best known as the creator of musical 'Sarafina!', Ngema has been divorced three times - from Pretoria State Theatre chief executive Xoliswa Ngema, actress Cebisile Mpungose, who was 16 years old when she married him in 1990, and 'Sarafina!' lead actress Leleti Khumalo.

When asked to comment on his wife's doubts, he said: "I support her choice but I expect her to perform her duties according to our traditions."

Meanwhile, Ngema is set to marry a new wife, with whom he is said to be smitten, and with whom he has concluded both umembeso and lobola negotiations.
