The second season of Umlilo returned on a high note. The e.tv drama series, which stars actors like Hamilton Dlamini, Nomzamo Mbatha, and Omuhle Gela, did not disappoint on Monday evening. 

Khwezi, played by Mbatha, was up to her usual evil self, plotting and planning to kill the other wives. Although she didn't succeed, she seems even more determined to have her way this season. 

While we're used to seeing her as the 'nice girl', Nomzamo is quite convincing as a villian. Speaking to ZAlebs following the conclusion of the first season, the actress said she enjoys playing Khwezi.

"Playing the role of Khwezi has been incredible. I have no words to describe how fortunate I feel for having played that character." 

There is no doubt that Umlilo is one of those shows that should not be missed. We can't wait to see the next episode. By the looks of things, it is going to be on fire!
