This season of SA Idols already promises to be one of the most popular in the show's 9 Year existence. We've already had a great deal of controversy with the now infamous Bring Back the Twins Saga; where the popular twins were seemingly unfairly sent home. The next big talking point on this season's show has been the spectacular performances of singer, Brenden Ledwaba. 

Last night, Brenden again wowed audiences with his rendition of Rihanna's hit single, "Stay". He's been trending on Twitter ever since and already looks to be an early front runner in the competition. However, if there's one thing that should be remembered its that Idols is as unpredictable as a Miley Cyrus performance and it won't be the first time we've identified a possible winner so early on. Adam Lambert looked to have sealed the deal at a very early stage of American Idols before he was robbed in what is quite possible the greatest crime of all time. Lambert's story is not the only one of its kind but serves as a reminder that we can't start backing stars as winners until, well, until they actually win! 

For now, though, all anybody can do is support Brenden as he continues his Idols Journey, and we hope to see more excellent performances from the wonderful singer. Here's a video of yesterday's rendition of "Stay" by Rihanna.
