Mthuthu Ndebele has come out to defend himself.
The bachelor, who appeared on Sunday evening's episode of Date My Family, received a lot of backlash for his comments about how women should be treated. On Monday, the singer took to Twitter to apologise to women, men and the Zulu nation.
However. Mthuthu feels that he was misrepresented on the show, and that people didn't really get to see the "real" him. Speaking on Metro FM's The Great Escape, he explained: "There's quite a lof of things that were taken out [of the show] that justify what I was saying. I feel they took out everything that was good about me and the show. I'm a good guy, you can see you can tell."
He added: "I do recognise my mistakes and that I was wrong, in terms of approaching the issue of 50/50 and all that... After watching the show I realised that I should've said other things in a more polite way..."
Okay, we get it. You're a nice guy... just not on TV.
