According to Sowetan, Black Coffee will be one of the performers on 31 October, as Cassper Nyovest attempts to make his dream of filling up The Dome a reality.
We initially thought Cassper would try to fill the 20,000 capacity venue on his own, but maybe sanity has prevailed as the rapper said on Wednesday that the #FillUpTheDome endeavour wasn’t just about him.
“This is in no way me trying to be egotistic or me trying to be selfish with the platform. I know that I’ve got an idea and if any South African act who matters at this time wants to help me or wants to be the supporting act, I would gladly appreciated that,” Cassper told Sowetan.
Filling up The Dome is no easy feat and, despite a number of people questioning whether or not it can be done, the rapper understands that he cannot do it on his own, revealing that Black Coffee would be one of the opening acts on the night.
“Black Coffee has already reached out to me saying that he would love to perform on the night,” he said.
With Black Coffee and his scores of fans by his side, Cassper might just achieve his goal.
