Unlike many of their US counterparts, who dropped out of high school or university to pursue their dreams, these local stars are burning the midnight oil as far as their studies are concerned.
They may have already established themselves in the entertainment industry, but that has not stopped them from furthering their studies – proving that education is key.
Stars like Boity Thulo, Pearl Modiadie, rapper K.O, and Dineo Moeketsi already have university degrees or diplomas.
It’s great to see Mzansi stars putting an emphasis on getting a good education, no matter how old or successful they already are.

Despite getting her big break on TV, actress Thuli Phongolo continues to pursue her studies. The 21-year-old is a marketing strategic communication student. She revealed this week that she just qualified for her exams. Congrats!
