Chilli M has revealed that he might not see the end of December.
The radio personality, who has a liver problem due to alcohol abuse, was speaking at the Industry Association for Responsible Alcohol Use's (ARA) Young Free and Educated (YFE) programme launch. Chilli, Oskido, and former football star Jabu Mahlangu, who are the organisation's ambassadors, are raising awareness about the dangers of alochol abuse.
According to Sunday World, the radio DJ said: "I'm not going to see the end of December, that is what my doctor told me. The doctor told me with certainty that 80% of my liver had been affected. There is an eight-year waiting period before one can get a liver transplant. It is such a sad case. My liver does not function normally anymore."
Meanwhile, Jabu reportedly revealed that he started drinking when he was 11, because he came from a family of alcoholics. According to the publication, the former football star has been sober for almost two years.
Although he hasn't stopped drinking, Oskido said he's now doing it responsibly.
