A tweet doing the rounds, allegedly posted by Rebecca, claimed that she filled up the Dome long before Cassper, when she sang on Shell Road to Fame.
“Funny how people forget,” the tweet read.
Cassper Nyovest fans were quick to slam Rebecca, calling her a gospel granny who was just trying to steal the rapper’s spotlight.

But the tweet actually came from a parody account, and not the real Rebecca.
Rebecca has not commented on the incident, but she retweeted fans who highlighted that she made no such claims.
Cassper made history on Saturday when he became the first South African to sell out the Ticket Pro Dome.
Not only did 20,000 fans come out to support the rapper, but thousands more bought his second album Refiloe, which went gold in three hours!
Even President Jacob Jacob Zuma gave Cassper props for filling up the Dome.
