ZAlebs attended the launch of e.tv's new series, Gold Diggers, on Thursday and highlights some of the great moments we saw on the night.

On Thursday night, e.tv pulled out all the stops at the Gold Diggers launch, which took place in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. ZAlebs saw e.tv’s finest talent celebrate the launch of yet another series South Africans are sure to come to enjoy every week from 10 August.

Upon our arrival, ZAlebs was met with an interesting surprise as e.tv presented us with mining overalls and mining hats, a clear indication that we were going to experience a real gold-digging journey.

This is a real #GoldDiggerslaunch experience

ZAlebs caught up with main character Tina Jaxa, who revealed that she's looking forward to seeing herself do what she does best on television. Tina was enjoying herself so much that at one point she jumped onto the stage and began dancing alongside fellow star, the legendary Mbongeni Ngema.

No seriously, Tina Jaxa was having the time of her life!

ZAlebs also caught up with rising star, actress Fikile Mtwhalo, who will be playing the character of "Hlengiwe" on the series. Fikile is a busy lady as she's also currently on Mzansi Magic's It's Complicated series. Fikile revealed that for the most part she'll be speaking in her native language, Sotho, which is something she's never done before in all her roles as an actress. Fikile's fiance' and It's Complicated co-star, Atandwa Kani, also came to the event to offer his lady some support.  ZAlebs spotted the two hugging and kissing later in the night - it was so sweet how Fikile's face lit up when she saw Atandwa walk into the room.

Make sure you look out for our video footage of the event soon on our YouTube channel, as we interview the likes of Mbongeni Ngema, Tina Jaxa, Zulu Boy, Samkelo Ndlovu, and more. In addition, you don't want to miss the pole dancers that were at the event too... yep you read right, pole dancers!

Gold Diggers will air on 10 August at 22h00 on e.tv.
