Known for his controversial character of Mr Sokholu in Generations: The Legacy actor and MC Batsile Ramasodi has shown that his 10-years in the entertainment industry is beginning to reap him great rewards.
Bastsile Ramasodi has been given an opportunity most actors dream of – a lead role in an international showcase – The Dirt Road.
The Dirt Road which is an international theatre play has enjoyed a successful debut in Paris, France to its South African debut at the 2014 National Arts Festival Fringe in Grahamstown.
The Dirt Road follows the quirky but inherently tragic love story between a Xhosa man and a Coloured woman.
Batsile will play the role of Simphiwe Ndlela, a prolific artist.
