While the cops are still trying to find Senzo Meyiwa's killers, Kelly Khumalo has focused on fighting for some of his money.
According to Sunday World, the singer, who has a child with the late football star, has asked Sello 'Chicco' Twala to help her get a lawyer to claim her share of Senzo's life cover.
The paper reported that Kelly found out through the media that the Meyiwas would receive around R5-million from Senzo's life insurance.
Chicco's lawyer, Ali Makitla, confirmed that they will be representing Kelly. He told the paper: "We will be meeting with her during the week to take proper instructions."
A source told Sunday World that Kelly, who had initially decided not to claim from Senzo's estate, changed her mind after being advised by her associates.
An source added: "They told her that the money was not for her but for her child and that she must do what is best for her child. She then phoned Chicco who then hooked her up with his lawyers."
Senzo was shot and killed at Kelly's home in Vosloorus, East of Johannesburg, in October last year.
