What's Hot: Khune’s agent denies outrageous demands
By Siyathemba Ben on 25 May 2015 at 14:20 · Comments
Itumeleng Khune was said to be demanding a staggering R8.4 million to stay with Kaizer Chiefs, but the player’s agent has refuted the claims.

Khune’s contract with The Glamour Boys will run out at the end of June and, with negotiations between him and the club stalling, the Bafana Bafana international has been linked with moves to Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and even a move abroad.

The player’s agent, Dan Lichman, explained that the exorbitant figures that were being thrown around in the media were untrue.  “I’ve seen the article. There’s a false agenda against Khune. There have been no such demands. Nobody from the club has told Khune. We shall see what the club now say at their conference,” Lichman declared.

Kaizer Chiefs will hold a press conference this week, with speculation rife that the futures of both Khune and team captain Tefu Mashamaite will be addressed at the conference.
