A string of YouTube videos and television adverts of our local celebrities being pro e-tolls have made their way into people’s homes and offices. The likes of Minnie Dlamini, Khanyi Mbau, and Tbo Touch have taken a very firm stance towards a subject that has caused a rift between South Africans and the government for over a year.
In the past couple of days, many South Africans have been up in arms, questioning why our celebrities are involving themselves with Sanral, and an issue which many consider to be 'daylight robbery'.
Their decision to work with Sanral has not settled well with some South Africans. We just wonder why they have 'sold out' - as many have put it, in this situation?
Mara who would take Minnie and Khanyi Mbau serious talking about etolls? Can this government attempt to respect us though?

Someone please tell me #SANRAL paid those idiots to promote #etolls. I can't imagine anyone being thick enough to actually do it for free

If whole govern leaders failed to get our people to cooperate with their lifetime enslavement through etolls - Mbau/Dlamini stands no chance

We must still reject #Etolls

Here's one of the Sanral videos with Tbo Touch.
What are your thoughts on celebrities supporting Sanral's attempts to encourage South African citizens to pay their e-tolls?
