You probably know by now that Zakes Bantwini and Nandi Mngoma are making music together. The stars are set to release their new song, titled Dance, on 27 April.
Speaking to Drum earlier this month, Nandi said this is something that everyone has been waiting for them to do. “I'm glad we finally did it,” she said.
Zakes, who produced the song, told the mag: "Nandi and I love music, especially African sounds, so this thing was right for us to collaborate on. We understand each other and we used each other’s strengths."
Now the duo has been hard at work promoting the track on social media. They each posted videos of themselves on their Instagram pages where they are talking about the release of the song.
In one video, Zakes asks Nandi what the most important date right now is. She responds: “27th of April. We’re gonna make you dance.”
It’s kinda cute. We don’t doubt that the track will be a hit. You all know that anything Zakes touches turns to gold.
