What's Hot: Sophie Ndaba quits Generations fight

Sophie Ndaba will no longer be engaging in the fight against Generations founder Mfundi Vundla for exploitation.

Sophie Ndaba has confirmed to Sunday World that she has stopped fighting against Mfundi Vundla.

"I didn't see the reason to continue fighting because he had introduced a new thing all together. We were fighting for the exploitation of actors in the original show called Generations. I don't regret doing so, but now he has introduced a new thing to which I don't belong. So what would be the reason to continue fighting?" she told the paper.

Ndaba, who is currently working as a producer, added that she would work with Vundla if another opportunity came knocking.

"It's a small world, you never know what the future holds for you. I have now ventured into production. Because he is an expert and a veteran producer, I might call and ask him a thing or two because I'm still new in the field," she said.

Ndaba is not the only who has pulled out of the fight. Her friend and former colleague Winnie Ntshaba also announced that she would no longer be fighting with Vundla.

In December 2014, 16 Generations actors approached the high court demanding that the SABC stop broadcasting Generations: The Legacy, after they were fired from Generations for accusing Vundla of exploitation.
