The media personality, who has been in the entertainment industry for years, has shared some advice on how to get in and remain relevant.

The entertainment indsustry is not just about the flashing lights. There's a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes and it is very important to take note of that before you attempt to break into it. 

One person who seems to have mastered the art of remaining relevant in this cut-throat business is Stoan. The singer, television host and actor has been around for years. He believes that education is the best route for anyone wanting to pursue a career in entertainment. 

Speaking to Relebogile Mabotja on her RM Industry Tips YouTube video, he said: "Put education behind everything you want to do. I think if you know that you're talented you need to get your parents to give you that opportunity at a good art college or major in art in university so that you can have a bigger aptitude for survival." 

He also said one constantly needs reinvention. "You need a lot of reinvention along the way, you need to learn more things as you go along the way" He added that respecting your craft is very important. "You need to always be a new product to..."

Relegbogile, who is also a well-kown TV personality, said she started doing these videos because a lot of people want advice on how to get into the industry, how to survive, and how to use the connections that they have. "I decided to create a little platform where I get some of my peers, my colleagues and industry friends to give you guys some tips," she explained in a video.  

One of her tips is to have a special love and passion for what you do.
