Thando Thabethe Netball Challenge a success
The actress and radio DJ received great support from her industry peers and ordinary citizens.
The second annual Thando Thabethe Women's Day Netball Challenge, which was held in Soweto, was a great success. The challenge was aimed at creating awareness against women abuse, and at raising funds for the Bethany Home for Abused Women. Last year, the event attracted 400 people and raised R20 000 for the home.
Celebs like Ayanda Thabethe and Denise Zimba, who are also part of Thando's #MakeItStop campaign, took part in the netball challenge. A grateful Thando took to Instagram to that everyone who supported her.
Well done, Thando. We're looking forward to next year's event.
