What's Hot: Time For Tea: When Jimmy Tau met karma
By Time for Tea on 29 January 2016 at 13:38 · Comments
Bursaries for virgins, Jimmy Tau gets “bricked”, and a shocking Generations story line – it all went down on Twitter this week.

Jimmy Tau got the biggest red card of his career this week!

The former football player was left red-faced after a report suggested his fiancée Sizakele Manonga dumped him for Major League’s DJ Bandile.

As if that was not bad enough, no-one felt sorry for him, because apparently everyone was happy that karma finally caught up with him.

You see, Jimmy allegedly stole Sizakele from fellow footballer George Lebese, and now Jimmy got "bricked" so bad he started trending on Twitter.

In other news, #MaidenBursary was trending on Twitter this week after tweeps got wind that KwaZul-Natal’s uThukela Municipality allegedly awarded 16 women university burrsaries – on condition they remained virgins until they completed their studies.

Lose your virginity? Bye, bye bursary!

But it seems municipal officials forgot to ask themselves important questions like: What about girls who were raped? Why are boys not being treated the same way?

We're not sure who advised the municipality that attaching access to education to a woman's virginity woud be a great idea?

The issue of polygamy also made the news this week, and all because a female character on Generations: The Legacy revealed that she wanted to take a second husband – much to her husband’s dismay!

Karabo Moroka, who is married to Tau Mogale on the show, revealed that she wanted to marry her lover.

While many women, including actress Mbali Nkosi, were thrilled with the idea, it seems some guys were not so thrilled.

The foolishness on Twitter really got us feeling like....
