Oh no he didn't? Oh yes he did!

South African comedian Trevor Noah threw some major shade at Kanye West this week.

The Daily Show host took to Twitter to give props to Grammy winner Kendrick Lamar, but added a bit of spice, because you know, shade gets the people talking.

And that it did.

Trevor tweeted: “Kendrick is what Kanye would have been if the Kardashians didn't get him.”

Trevor's tweet got 15,000 retweets and 13,000 likes.

Okay, Trevor, we see you and your shady self.

Kanye West has received major flak for his recent Twitter rants, which included claiming he is $53-million in debt, and begging Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg to invest $1-billion in him.

His new album, The Life of Pablo, also caused a stir. Lyrics for his Famous single left Taylor Swift fans up in arms.

Kanye rapped: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b*tch famous.”

Taylor threw some shade of her own while accepting a Grammy for Album of the Year.

"..there are going to be people along the way, who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame. [She means you, Kanye]. But if you just focus on the work and you don't let those people side track you…when you get where you are going, you will look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be the greatest feeling in the world.”
