Former Our Perfect Wedding host, Tumi Morake, has opted for a healthier lifestyle.
The comedian recently opened up to Destiny about her weight loss journey. She said she started working out around July 2014 and only started seeing results this year.
"Before that, I was one of those people who started banting before consulting my doctor and my cholesterol shot up to 6,1 before I collapsed at work and found out I was literally on the verge of a heart attack," she told Destiny, adding that in the past, she used to eat without thinking.
"I'm more discerning about what I eat now and I’ve changed how I prepare my food. I’m not best friends with oil anymore and I’ve cut out a lot of bread and sugar from my diet, which has made a huge difference."
The wife and mother of three also told the site that she's stopped having babies. "The reason people thought I was so incredibly obese is that they didn’t realise that over the past five years they’ve been seeing me pregnant or post-baby. My three children came back to back and that’s the biggest I’ve been in my life."
