After a riveting finale of Umlilo's first season, the producers of the show have announced that the drama series will return for a second season on 10 August at 9am.
Though many of its loyal viewers enjoyed the final episode, it seems Eskom ruined many people’s plans when a blackout occurred during the time the drama was being aired. Eishkom strikes again:
ZAlebs had asked a few of the cast members what people could expect from the season finale, and we must say their explanations were a testament to the drama-filled episode that played on 25 May.
Nomzamo Mbatha, who plays the character of Khwezi, had this to say about the season finale: “It's the Wedding Day for Mnqobi and Khwezi, but will they make it to the aisle? Viewers can expect a fast paced roller coaster ride tonight. They'll be rooting for Dumile as she takes them through different emotions”
We absolutely cannot wait for the second season of the show, which we're sure will be as captivating as the first. If only Umlilo had repeats, we'd be glued to our couch right now.
