Calling all aspiring MCs, Vuzu AMP is looking for the dopest undiscovered word-smiths from all over the streets of South Africa for their new show, entitled The Hustle.
The Hustle is set to focus its spotlight on underground rappers who are just itching to get their chance to make it into the ever-so competitive and thriving business that is the local hip hop industry.
According to the producers of the show, they’re looking for a rapper who not only understands the rap game as a musical craft, but as a business too:
“The ultimate Hustler has the IT factor that makes them stand out from the rest, possesses great musical skills, bears their soul in words, and understands the lifestyle of a rapper. In essence, The Hustle is looking for an all-rounder who looks at the rap game beyond words but as a business.”

Vuzu AMP will be holding auditions on 27 April. The good news is that you don’t have to travel all the way to Joburg to show off your skills, but can even audition in the comfort of your own living room.
Vuzu AMP is inviting all talented hip hop heads to submit their 15-second audition video on Instagram. Now we might argue that 15 seconds isn’t nearly enough time, but if you believe you have got what it takes to blow the Vuzu crew away, by all means grab that mic and spit those rhymes for them.
Rappers must be between the ages of 18-26 and should simply follow and tag @vuzutv on Instagram, followed by the hashtag #Vuzuhustle. Auditions end on 22 May 2015.
