What's Hot: What Wright Ngubeni has been up to

The actor, who is back on our screens, has done a lot of good work out of the spotlight.

Wright Ngubeni quickly became a household name when he played Jonathan on Generations.

The actor, who also went on to feature on Rhythm City before taking a break from television, is now back on our TV screens as the host of Mzansi Magic's Love Back.

Speaking to Arye Kellman on Cliff Central about his hiatus, the ambassador of the National Youth Development Agency said: "I know that a lot of people haven't seen me on TV in a while... I've been working on platforms just doing  TV, the little bit of TV that I could do, due the fact that I've ventured out into business. I'm doing a whole lot of youth initiative driven stuff. Just basically encouraging the youth to rise up and start their own businesses."

See, not being on TV doesn't always mean you're down and out. The presenter seems quite excited about his new gig.

He told Arye: "I'm always happy to be in platforms where I can give people the real stories, human stories. I don't wanna have to present. People love my personality so I give them Wright Ngubeni. I love meeting new people so why not meet new people on a show and find out what's good..."

With so much interest around his life right now, Wright feels the need to keep his personal business to himself. "My private life has been quite discreet... I don't feel the need to say 'this is what's going on in my life'. Not that I feel that people care, I do wanna keep people glued to the screens but there's just certain things that get... I get overwhelmed. Already I'm overwhelmed by people who are just trying to tap into my world..."

If you're trying to find out who he's dating, forget it! Wright doesn't want to reveal this piece of information.
