What's playing in Tumi Voster's Car

We spoke to Step up or Step Out presenter, Tumi Voster , and we took the time to find out what music she was currently listening to and what she would recommend. Seeing as she was a presenter on a dance show it's fair to suggest that she has excellent movie taste. Let's put her to the test

What music are you listening to right now?

Let me think, I'm really enjoying Kuli Chana. Seeing his growth in the industry has been absolutely music.

What was your first ever CD?

I owned Jamali, 101, a lot of pop star CDs, I used to record a lot of stuff on cassettes

If you could design your dream Duet/collaboration, who would it be?

Definitely Beyonce, she's talented. But who would you pair Beyonce with? Busi is amazing and she's such a talented vocalist. I think I'd probably pair up those two.

Which new artist would you recommend to people?

Do we have new artists in SA? [Laughs] I haven't heard her music, Naima Kay, I think she's doing things the right way and I really like her. Unfortunately I didn't love her live performance but I think she's on the right track.

Who has been your biggest musical disappointment this year?

All these Ratchet hip hop guys have just been disappointment to hip hop, the music sounds the same. I don't dig that.
