Tweeps could not contain themselves with all the drama unfolding before their screens.
They were no doubt salivating as they put their 140 characters to good (or should we say bad) use.
And boy did they have a lot of material to work with this week.
Black Twitter was like...
Gospel singer S’fiso Ncwane became Twitter’s latest casualty thanks to a R1.9-Million car he gave to his pastor.
S’fiso made headlines last week when he and his wife (we’ll get to her later) announced on social media that he had bought their pastor a pricey car to thank him for saving his life.
It all became too much for Tweeps to handle when the Daily Sun revealed that while S’fiso was busy buying his pastor a AMG Mercedes-Benz, his mother’s fridge was empty - no ice water bottle or margarine in sight, nothing!

@SfisoNcwane when r u buying your mother a fridge ? Not food. A real fridge for start pic.twitter.com/Byit8yfkSv

Fikile Ncwane hinted that her daughter-in-law may be the problem, telling the paper that whenever she asks for money, S’fiso’s wife would scold her, claiming they had no money to support her.
Fans were outraged when Fikile then broke down on Vuma FM about the tragic situation.
Despite S’fiso denying that he was not neglecting his mother, fans were not impressed.
@SfisoNcwane giving valueables to pastors does not mean u r giving thanks to God. U need to read the bible. https://t.co/Kp0dUyIQ7u

Right now @SfisoNcwane is busy with interviews, doing damage control but the biggest damage is his hungry mother. Yondla unyoko bhuti.

But it seems all is well in the Ncwane household as S’fiso has reached out to his mom and finally bought her some groceries. Luckily, the Daily Sun was on hand to share the happy moment.
“It’s so full I think I’m dreaming. I’m glad Sfiso came to his senses! Even though he hasn’t come here yet, I read in the papers that he will when he returns from Joburg,” she was quoted as saying. She read it in the papers, y’all, so it must be true.
We’re not sure if S’fiso’s career will recover from all this bad (Twitter) publicity. Maybe next time, he should think twice before announcing to the world about the expensive gifts he is buying while his mother goes to bed hungry.
As #OurPerfectWedding fans prepare to say goodbye to host Ayanda Mpama (who makes her last appearance on Sunday), we can’t help but wonder if Twitter trolls are to blame for her departure.
Aya told ZAlebs this week that she was leaving because her contract was ending.
But we all know “hair-gate” and Twitter hate are the real reasons why her contract was not renewed?
Fans could not contain their excitement following news of her departure.
Wow "@DjayEskay_Sa: Black Twitter Claims Another Scalp .. #OPW Host Aya Resigns, Claiming " Social Media " Was Too Harsh !!"
