Nandi Mngoma has come a long way in the entertainment industry.

The actress, who will be acting alongside some of Mzansi's best actors on Mzansi Magic's new series The Road, has taken some time to reflect on her journey in the industry so far. She took to Instagram to share where it all began for her. She first revealed that she left her home in Durban and moved to Johannesburg when she was just an 18-year-old to pursue her dreams. 

"I got a call from my agent saying I had an audition they wanted me to go to the very same day I landed in Jhb, I still had my bags with, took a cab and rushed to the casting. That's when I first met talents my age like @AmandaDuPont . We were starry eyed and new to the industry." 

Nandi said her first audition was incredible - leading to her first job. "I got to work with the Legendary director Teboho Mahlatsi who then had directed Yizo Yizo from Bomb productions. Who would've thought that almost 10 years later I would be working with them again! And in between those years I would experience rejection, appreciation and celebration."

The starlet believes that no one and nothing can come between your God and the talent you have been blessed with. "I'm honoured to work with the guys who brought you Yizo Yizo, Zone 14, Isibaya etc. and now..."
