Win: Celebrate Heritage Day with Black Coffee

When you have an ingenious artist, a spectacular location and a monumental reason to celebrate, then you have all the ingredients to make for an indelible event. This and more as DJ Black Coffee headlines the Old Mututal Music at the Lake concert at the Durban Botanic Gardens on Heritage Day, Tuesday, 24 September.

DJ Black Coffee needs little introduction. He is the winner of multiple SAMA Awards, and is the winner of many other accolades and in addition to his phenomenal musical achievements, Black Coffee has a philanthropic heart.

DJ Black Coffee will treat his Durban fans to a star-studded set that will see some of his friends take to the stage at the Durban Botanic Gardens. Tumelo, Soulstar, Mahlatse & Pantsula promise to keep the crowd on their feet to the soulful sounds of house music.

It goes without saying that the music will be great. This time it is the event setting – at the botanic gardens - that will set the occasion apart from all other appearances. It is awe-inspiring and grand.

“Celebrating Heritage Day is about taking stock of our national heritage in its entirety, and through the Old Mutual Music at the Lake series we use culture to also enhance and acknowledge our natural heritage,” said Old Mutual sponsorships manager, Bandile Mngoma.

The Old Mutual Music at the Lake concert series has already brought world class acts such as Johnny Clegg, Prime Circle, Mafikizolo, Asleep in Transit, Khaya Mthethwa and The Parlotones to the Durban Botanic Gardens in 2013.
