Zakes Bantwini is on some motivational trip right now. The musician, who is in a not-so-private relationship with Nandi Mngoma, took to Instagram to urge men to be more supportive of their partner's careers. 

He wrote: "As men we tend to rob our women of their dreams for them to support and fulfill our own dreams and lifestyle. I appreciate my woman for being raised to be independent. As her partner it is my duty to support her dreams. Because as much as It would be convenient for me ( but not her) to settle, extend & start a family with her tomorrow, as I've been there done that, got the T-shirt & scars."

He added that it's important for men to accommodate their partners and not be selfish: "There is nothing worse than crushing your partners dreams& potential to fulfill your own. My partner always lets me know that she appreciates me being supportive of her & her career. Gentlemen, let her grow & blossom."
