Boity Confirms: "I'm Happily Single"

Sorry for everybody who was already planning their wedding outfit, but it looks as if Boity is still a single woman. On the plus side, this gives plenty of single South Africans reason to hope again…

Boity Thulo is enjoying life after turning 29 and celebrating her latest birthday with this absolutely saucy snap.

We thought she was going to crown the newest chapter of her life by confirming the rumours about her love life but she went and ruined all the fun. Rumours have been rife that the presenter and rapper is currently dating Maps Maponyane but when questioned about her love life, Boity set the record straight and revealed that she is actually single (no word on her readiness to mingle though).

When questioned about their rumoured romance on East Coast Radio this week, Boity began by laughing off the suggestion that she was in any way involved with her “close friend”.

“That is so bizarre. How long have I been friends with Maps? It is so crazy.”

Instead of playing coy and beating around the bush like Bonang did when confronted about her own secret romance, Boity revealed that there is no man in her life at all when she said:

“We are not dating. That is so silly. Maps is one of my best friends. I love him to death. I’m single. I am happily single. I am having the time of my life.”

While she denied one rumour, in admitting she’s single Boity seemed to confirm another. Some of you may remember that earlier this year Boity was rumoured to have broken up with her alleged boyfriend of one year, Stanley Obiamalu.
