It is public knowledge that Katlego Danke's son was born in 2017. Despite that, the star actress has managed to keep details of her child under wraps and she rarely posts photos of the young man.

Grapevine suggests that the father of Katlego Danke's son is non other than South Africa's richest black man, Patrice Motsepe, but really, we can never know for sure since the actress hasn't denied or confirmed the rumours.

Danke has had a passion for performing since she was a child, so it's no surprise that she chose to study arts at the university. She has appeared in a number of films, including Miss Tertiary Feel, Beyond The Veil, and The Town That Was Mad. Her previous TV performances included cameos in films and shows such as Sewende Laan (2003) and SOS (2001).

She has appeared on the covers of publications such as Drum, True Love, and Real when she is not in front of the camera. She's also been named as one of FHM's 100 sexiest women in the world twice, in 2006 and 2011.

Katlego Danke has also given motivational presentations to young people for organizations such as the ANC Women's League, the National Department of Health, the Sonke Gender Justice Network, and the World Bank.

She earned a big break in 2015 when she was named the brand ambassador for Philips Avent, an international baby products firm. Her dedication to children has led her to collaborate with organizations such as the Abraham Kriel Children's Home and the Johannesburg Children's Home.

The actress was in 2019 a subject to mixed reactions after word came to light that her house was on the verge of repossession by a local bank.

According to papers filed in court, Katlego had defaulted on her monthly payments on a loan of over Sh500,000 which she had taken from the bank back in 2005, secretive as she is, Katlego did not bother to either confirm or deny the claims and the story was soon after forgotten.

From her work on TV (acting and as a host), endorsement deals and other business ventures, her combined assets are rumored to be almost in the region of between 200,000 and 500,000 South African Rand.
